Inn of the AnasaziBoutique luxury hotel one block from the Plaza. Exceptional restaurant, kiva fireplaces in every room, and impeccable service. Small (58 rooms), so it feels intimate.
Drury Plaza HotelIn the converted St. Francis Cathedral parish building, two blocks from the Plaza. Strong value — includes free breakfast and an evening reception. The rooftop bar (Bar Alto) has great views.
Hotel St. FrancisCharming smaller hotel with historic character. Afternoon tea in the lobby is a nice touch. On Don Gaspar Avenue, a short walk from everything.

  • Bishop's Lodge, Auberge Resorts — North of town in Tesuque. Luxury resort on 317 acres with horseback riding, a spa, and stunning mountain views. One of the finest properties in New Mexico.
  • Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado — Also in Tesuque, set against the Sangre de Cristos with casita-style rooms. Pool, spa, and fine dining with sweeping desert views.
  • Buffalo Thunder Resort (Hilton) — On Pojoaque Pueblo land north of Santa Fe. Large resort with casino, golf, pool, and the Nidah Spa. Good value for families.

Historic Inns and B&Bs

  • Inn of the Five Graces — Lavishly decorated suites in a historic compound near the Plaza. Mosaic tilework, imported textiles, and kiva fireplaces. One of the most distinctive hotels in the Southwest.
  • El Rey Court — A renovated motor court on Cerrillos Road. Retro-modern style with a pool, apothecary, and relaxed vibe. Good value and full of character.
  • Inn on the Alameda — Between the Plaza and Canyon Road. Adobe architecture, complimentary breakfast, and an excellent location for walking to galleries.

Budget-Friendly Options

  • Santa Fe Sage Inn — Clean, affordable motor lodge on Cerrillos Road. Walking distance to the Railyard. Pool in summer.
  • Cerrillos Road motels — The stretch of Cerrillos Road south of town has numerous national chain hotels (La Quinta, Comfort Inn, Super 8) that are the most affordable options in the city.
  • Vacation rentals — Santa Fe has a large inventory of casitas and guesthouses on platforms like Airbnb and Vrbo. A casita on the south side or in a residential neighborhood can be significantly cheaper than downtown hotels and gives you a kitchen.
