New End of Life Legislation in New Mexico

Liz Stefanics is in her third term as a State Senator from District 39 (2017-24) (and 1993-96).  She served two terms as a Santa Fe County Commissioner (2009 -16).  Her career includes consulting, mediation, health and human services, health policy, higher education, public administration, risk management, nonprofit administration, and parks and recreation.

Her work focuses on health and human services; services to families; the spectrum of education support – children, teachers, staff, administration; the environment, water, and conservation; public finance; transparency; human rights; and a wide variety of other issues to improve the lives of New Mexicans.

Liz continues to contribute to the state by being active in a wide variety of organizations on the national, regional, state, and local level.  The State Senate District 39 includes parts of Bernalillo, Lincoln, San Miguel, Santa Fe, Torrance, and Valencia counties.
