Carrizozo’s Inroads to Commerce

The Carrizozo Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit membership organization of businesses, professionals and community members dedicated to supporting our business members in addition to promoting new businesses, commerce, tourism and the community of Carrizozo, NM.  The Chamber networks with other organizations including our local government and Carrizozo Works (carrizozoworks.org) our economic development group.  Carrizozo’s annual Holiday Event, “Light Up the Night” is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce.

Gwendolyn Rogers has served as President of the Carrizozo Chamber of Commerce since 2018 and has served on the board since 2014, she also serves as President of the Lincoln County Historical Society and Carrizozo Heritage Museum.  Gwendolyn is retired from the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs where she was Educational Coordinator of Lincoln Historic Site, she has owned her own business, Soul of the West Bootique, in Carrizozo for nine years.
